Ex - Vice - Prime Minister - Minister of Social Policy, People's Deputy from the Party of Regions faction Sergey Tigipko believes that Ukraine has actually entered the tough stage of the crisis. He reported about this on the air of the Inter TV channel.
The ex-Vice-Prime Minister, speaking of a social bloc, noted that this year was successful, since all social standards grew much faster than prices rose.
“This is a big plus. I will not talk about numbers, and I will not say that this is a great achievement, because nevertheless, if you look at the level of wages, the level of pensions, they remain low. I'm talking about trends and growth rate, ”said Sergey Tigipko.
However, the end of the year, according to the former member of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, was very difficult for the economy.
“I believe that we actually entered the very strict stage of the crisis. I see what is being done in our production, primarily in metallurgy. The purchases of our metal are very sharply falling, prices are falling. And already at the end of the year we see bad trends in the level of employment, ”the politician noted.
According to Sergei Tigipko, the accepted budget for 2013 gives very modest indicators for the growth of wages and pensions.
