The world production of cast iron according to the World Steel Association (the World Steel Association) increased in November 2012 by 5% and amounted to 87 million 55 thousand tons.
Ukrainian metallurgists were able to move to sixth place in the TOP-10 list of cast iron manufacturers with a result of 2 million 435 thousand tons, which is 0.6% more than in November 2011.
A dozen world leaders produced cast iron today is as follows:
China - 51.409 million tons, Japan - 6.564 million tons, Russia - 4.088 million tons, India - 3.42 million tons, South Korea - 3.321 million tons, Ukraine - 2.435 million tons, USA - 2.26 million tons, Germany - 2.2 million tons, Brazil - 2.18 Mill. Tons, Taiwan - 920 thousand tons.
