The new electric steel plant will be built in the Volgograd region as part of the program of socio-economic development of the region. The region’s leadership concluded an agreement with the "Isr Holding" (Moscow) an agreement on the joint construction of a metallurgical facility.
The construction of an electric steel plant will be carried out on a site located in the immediate vicinity of the Volgograd TPP-2. According to the portal on electricity and energy , the preparation of technical documentation is currently underway. The leadership of the Volgograd region, according to the terms of the contract, will comprehensively contribute to the implementation of the project.
The electric stale -melting plant is planned to be built in a year and a half. The project cost will be more than 1 billion rubles. The construction of the plant will increase the economic level of the Volgograd region and will help more effectively embody social programs.
