According to the Russian newspaper Izvestia, the global demand for steel pipes until 2017 will reach 151 million tons, increasing in comparison with lethargic demand one and a half times. The main engine of pipes deficiency will be the growth of the activity of the oil and gas and construction sectors of the world economy.
Among the most promising markets are the countries of the Middle East. In some of them, for example, in the UAE, volumes of consumption of steel pipes are growing by more than 15% annually.
