The Chinese Ministry of Trade announced that during the last calendar week (December 17-23), the average price for steel in China increased not 0.2% compared to the previous week.
In particular, last week the prices for a thick sheet and reinforcement rose most of all. Hot -rolled steel added 0.5%to the previous price, and construction reinforcing steel is 0.3%.
At the same time, the cost of iron ore raw materials from December 17 to December 23 increased by 3%and molybdenum ore by 1.9%, when the prices for tungsten and copper ores fall by 2.3%.
The price of electricity for metallurgical enterprises of the whale last week decreased by 0.3%, amid a decrease in coal and oil prices in the range of 0.4 - 0.6%.
