Zaporizhstal modernized the Kopovy workshop completely abandoning the electric portal cranes

The new overloaders of the Koprovaya workshop of Zaporizhstal will significantly increase the productivity and safety of production during loading and processing the scrap metal entering the enterprise, the factory press center reports. More than 17 million hryvnias embedded in the acquisition and commissioning of four mobile overloaders allowed to double labor productivity in the Kopovy shop.

The use of mobile overloaders of metal scrap made it possible to load-unloading anywhere in the workshop outside the radius of the action of electric bridge cranes and completely abandon the use of portal cranes, a well-known source of increased danger in any production.

Modern technology, acquired as part of a large -scale project to modernize and reconstruction Zaporizhstal, is equipped with the latest automated electronic control system. The driver’s comfort is also at a height - the cabs have good sound insulation and provide a wide viewing radius, and are also equipped with a climate control system.
