Baosteel, a major steel mill in China, has announced that prices for May will remain unchanged. Under the influence of the Russian-Ukrainian war, prices for raw materials remained at a high level.
Due to the current epidemic in China, restrictions are in place in many cities, and the price of steel has declined due to the recent sluggish demand.
Vietnamese Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation (FHS) will announce its new prices for June in the last days, and it has also tried to keep the price for June.
According to reports, steel prices in the US and Europe remained high. The steel market is pretty good, as expected. Taiwan's China Steel Corp. (CSC) will announce new prices this Friday (April 15) and may raise domestic prices for May.
