A traffic accident that occurred on December 27 in a suburb of Kyiv was made by Ukrainian composer and music producer Konstantin Meladze. This was reported by the public relations department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Kyiv region.
“He was driving, he does not deny this. He was sober, ”the police said.
On the evening of December 27, on the 32nd kilometer of the Kyiv-Obukhs highway, an accident occurred with the participation of a famous Ukrainian composer and a musical producer, in which a 30-year-old woman died.
The woman crossed the road in the pedestrian crossing area.
“The investigation will establish, at the pedestrian crossing she was knocked down either near him, because there is an opportunity that she cut the path,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted.
Criminal proceedings have begun on the grounds of an offense provided for in the second part of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of road safety rules or transport). The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to eight years.
