Türkiye increased steel exports by 35%

According to the preliminary data of the Turkish Institute of Statistics and the Specialized Secretariat of Turkish Customs, in November, the positive balance of Turkish foreign trade increased to $ 7 billion against $ 500 million in October. In the steel sector, there is a decrease in foreign trade deficiency from $ 724 million in October to $ 709 million in November 2012.

In total, in November 2012, Turkish metallurgical enterprises shipped steel and cast iron in the amount of 831 million $ 500, which is 13.6% less than in October. The shipment of steel and cast iron takes fifth place in the overall structure of Turkish exports, the first place of which is occupied by sales of cars with a result of 1 billion 350 million dollars.

According to the report, the export of the metal distribution grew in November by 18.7% in relation to October 2012 and by 35.4% in relation to November 2011. Export revenue for shipped metal products reached 610 million 250 thousand dollars.

In January - November 2012, the export of steel and cast iron from Turkey amounted to 10 billion 500 million dollars, while the export of metal production reached $ 500 million by increasing by 3.1% and 5.8%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
