Emirates Steel explores new export markets in Asia and Africa

Saeed Ghumran Al Remeiti, CEO of Emirates Steel Arkan, said the group is considering expanding into new export markets in Asia and Africa to increase production and efficiency, and improve the group's international competitiveness.

Al Remeiti said the export market accounts for 45% of the group's total sales. The company's strategy to diversify sources of income included increasing exports through various channels and increasing the competitiveness of domestic products. In addition, the company maintained its domestic market share at 60% and aims to increase this figure by adding new and sustainable products.

By the first half of this year, Emirates Steel Arkan's export markets increased to 60 from 56 at the beginning of the year.
