The Donbass Industrial Union launches at the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant a fundamentally new electro -generating station with a capacity of 300 WATT. In January 2013, the first power unit of a gas turbine power plant will be included in the system, Taras Shevchenko, General Director of the Communist Party of the Mammage of the Mamonet, told the regional newspaper Week Plus.
The new power station, as an energy carrier, will use the secondary energy resources of metallurgy: coke, domain and converter gases. Thus, the enterprise calculates with the help of modern electric drives to completely cover the needs for the electricity and coxochemical production of the alchevsk metallurgical plant.
“For us, the launch of our power unit is, first of all, the opportunity for the enterprise to be economically stable,” Taras Shevchenko emphasized, “by the end of this year we will launch both blocks of the new power plant and reach the design level of electric energy generation,” added the general director of the alchevskinsky station.
