Promalp is a special technology for performing work at height at various, most often industrial and residential facilities. At the same time, they get to the workplace with the help of a rope and /or using various other methods of belaying and moving, typical for mountaineering. The main feature is that the worker reaches all hard-to-reach places without building hoists or cradles.
The service, despite its unusual name, has been widespread for a long time, especially in large cities. Although, as a technology and profession, industrial mountaineering in its modern form became widespread in the 80s. Sometimes industrial mountaineering is the only possible option when carrying out work (at very high altitudes: windmills, TV towers or over water: dams, bridges).
