Since most apartments in our country are small in size, there is often a problem with the placement of a large number of wearable items. This is especially true of every little thing - handkerchiefs, socks, panties, T-shirts and T-shirts. We have to somehow get out of the situation.
The simplest, most economical and convenient way to solve this problem is to use built-in wardrobes. They fit perfectly into the interior and size of a small apartment. Indeed, this furniture takes up much less space compared to traditional wardrobes, and besides, it always looks stylish and very presentable. By the way, because of its pleasant design, it is not the least preferred.
However, with the placement of built-in wardrobes, problems often arise related precisely to the size and layout of small-sized apartments: such a a ready-made wardrobe is not the right choice for this room something simple. In principle, there are many companies that make such custom-made furniture , but making a wardrobe is not so difficult with your own hands.
So, making a built-in wardrobe with your own hands is beneficial, because:
- significantly save on carpentry work,
- choose the desired and convenient configuration,
- you select the best materials.
Before you start designing furniture, you need to at least roughly imagine how it will look. It is best to draw your sketch on paper. The easiest option is to find a suitable model or at least a prototype in a special magazine or even on the Internet.
Your first steps:
- make the necessary measurements at the location of the cabinet,
- write down all measurements and make a drawing according to their data,
- mark the location of the lamp on the wall (if it will be inside the cabinet).
Experts recommend that the depth of the cabinet should not be less than 600mm
On the wall, mark the places where the side walls will be attached. Now these very walls need to be built using four or even two strips. It is best to build frames for the walls, although you can immediately attach the sidewalls made from the board to the wall. The Internet abounds in detailed videos with training materials on this topic.
Next, you need to mark the point of the center of the product on the wall. The markup, of course, is checked using a plumb line. After that, the structure is fixed as much as possible with additional self-tapping screws.
Then build a door frame from several rails. Then cut the drywall sheets to size and attach to the sidewalls. Do not forget to make a hole inside the cabinet for the light wires.
