Despite the vicissitudes of the history of the family, Yuri Yuryevich feels himself Greek, honors his ancestors, shares and maintains a course on the development of Greek spiritual values ​​in Mariupol - the center of Ukrainian Hellenism.

In 1960, he graduated from the Novogrodovskaya secondary school and in the same year entered the Donetsk Polytechnic Institute for the Faculty of Metallurgical, the specialty "Equipment of plants of ferrous and non -ferrous metallurgy."

He began his career in 1960 by a locksmith at the Donetsk Metallurgical Plant. After graduation from the Donetsk Polytechnic Institute from 1966 to 1969.
