Pavel Shilyaev, General Director of MMK PJSC, and Director of the Magnitogorsk Rolling Mill (MZPV, part of the MMK Group) Valery Yakhontov pressed the symbolic button to launch the first stage of the new steel roller workshop.

Implementation: alternately - 2025-2026.
Number of staff – 415 specialists
Total investment – 17.8 billion rubles
Production volume (from 2026) – 12,000 tons per year
At the first stage, working cast iron and steel rolls will be produced here, and at the second stage, production of long–range and support steel rolls will begin. Such products are practically not produced in Russia now. The import-substituting capacities of the workshop will provide MMK and other Russian metallurgists with high-quality rolls.
