Persian Gulf countries create 34% of world demand for steel pipes

The three largest metallurgical companies of the Commonwealth of the Arab states of the Persian Gulf (GCC), held a joint press conference at which they reported the creation of the Arab Pipe Association.

Arabia Essen Welding & Cutting, Tekno Arabia and Tube Arabia reported that the development plans for the development of the mining industry of the Persian Gulf in the next five years will require more than 5 million 300 thousand tons of steel pipes for a total of 7 billion 200 million US dollars.

The latest statistical data indicate that the GCC countries account for 34% of world demand for pipes. Moreover, according to the calculations of the World Energy Agency, over the next 10 years, the countries of the Persian Gulf need to invest about $ 100 billion to meet the growing demand for energy.

The lion's share of these investments will go to expand the pipeline network that serves the oil and gas sector to build tent structures , as well as the needs of public utilities and transport.
