The new Interpipe Group Plant exactly a year ago on January 17 issued the first smelting. Since then, more than half a million tons of metal have been produced on the interpipe of steel and every day the production volumes increase. In December last year, the innovation plant smelted 85 thousand tons of steel.
The design capacity of the electric steel of the Interpipe Steel is 1 million 320 thousand tons per year and the next 500 thousand tons of metallurgists promise to melt in three months.
“Interpipe metallurgists have shown themselves to be a qualified and professional team working as a single mechanism. They have mastered new equipment, such as MMA inverter and technological processes. And they are ready to ensure the planned production and economic parameters of the new plant, ”said Andrea Mikelan, operating director of the plant, in an interview.
