Fluorite is used in metallurgy, chemical and glass industries, and mechanical engineering. Yaroslavskoye GRK LLC owns reserves at the Voznesenskoye deposit -4570 tons and Pogranichnoye-2929 tons. In 2013, Rusal completely stopped production at the plant for modernization due to depreciation of fixed assets and low ore quality. Over the past 12 years, new enrichment technologies have been developed to produce high-grade fluorite concentrate in cooperation with a Chinese company.
