In February 2013, a drop in the production of metal rolling in Ukraine will reach 8.7%

The metallurgical plants of Ukraine intend to reduce the production of metal rolling by 8.7% to 2 million 300 thousand tons in February, against 2 million 520 thousand tons expected in January 2012. At least they think so in Metallurgprom, UNIAN reports.

The plans of Ukrainian metallurgists reduce the smelting of steel by 8%, and the production of cast iron by 9% to 2 million 520 thousand tons and 2 million 310 thousand tons, respectively.

As of February 2012, to ensure production plans, metallurgical plants of Ukraine use 520 thousand tons of agglomerate, 1 million 510 thousand tons of iron ore concentrate, 550 thousand tons of an aggloruda 1 , 720 thousand tons of pustry, 1 million 180 thousand tons of tons of tons Koksa and 380 thousand tons of scrap metal.

According to Metallurgprom, Ukrainian metallurgists will not have problems with providing production plans - applications for limestones and iron ore raw materials are fully provided. If something is not enough, they will be bought by import. For example, it is supposed to purchase 680 thousand tons of coal abroad for the production of metallurgical coke.
