The export of steel pipes from Ukraine in 2012 in natural terms amounted to 1 million 545 thousand tons, which is 6% less than the corresponding indicator of 2011. This was reported by UNIAN, guided by the data of the State Customs Service of Ukraine.
Ukrainian metallurgists also received money for the sold pipes. The revenue from the export of steel pipes brought 1 billion 875 million dollars to the pockets of pipe factories, which is 8.2% less in 2011.
At the same time, Ukrainian enterprises had to import 80 thousand 865 tons in the amount of 180 million 700 thousand dollars. The average price of a ton of imported pipe, as we see, is 2,250 US dollars per ton.
Last year, it was decided to unite the State Customs Service of Ukraine with the tax ministry of revenues and fees, UNIAN warns.
