It is even more curious that in 1884 it was academician Alexander Petrovich Karpinsky, based on his research, as well as the observations of leading mining engineers of that time, who compiled and published the Geographical Map of the eastern slope of the Urals, which provided an exhaustive picture of the geological features of the Magnetic Mountain and its surroundings.
