In the first seven months of this year, car exports to Turkey totaled 630,992 units, up 8.5%, while passenger car exports fell by 5% to 361,036 units, year-on-year. During the same period, the country exported 195,090 small trucks, which is 18.6 percent more than last year. In the specified period, revenues from total exports of motor vehicles and components increased by 13.6 percent to $23.45 billion, while revenues from exports of passenger cars totaled $6.89 billion, an increase of 11.7 percent year-on-year.
In July, total car imports to Turkey totaled 78,264 units, an increase of 8.8 percent year-on-year, while passenger car imports totaled 58,282 units, an increase of 4.6 percent year-on-year.
