According to the results of the 2012 calendar, the decline in industrial production in Ukraine amounted to 1.8% compared to 2011, the State Statistics Service of Ukraine reports. In December last year, the drop in industrial production reached 7.6% compared to December 2011 and 3.9% compared to the last month.
The leaders of the fall were manufacturers of coke and oil products; 26.4% of the decline in production in 2012 were recorded in these industries.
Metallurgy of Ukraine demonstrated a drop in the production of metal rolling by 5.2%.
Machine builders lost 6%industrial production in 2012, and the production of machines, manufacturing parts according to the customer drawings and the production of equipment decreased by 9.9%, the production of electrical equipment by 11.6%. Small growth was recorded in the production of vehicles and equipment - 0.1%.
In 2012, the chemical and petrochemical industry increased sales by 7.1% compared to 2011 became leaders of industrial production in Ukraine. The cellulose-paper industry increased by 4.5%, producing by 1.9%, food production, tobacco and drinks increased by 1.5%.
As you know, in 2011 in Ukraine, industrial production growth was recorded at the level of 7.3%, in 2010 - 11.2%.
