European manufacturers of reinforcement and katanki announced an increase in export prices. The main reason they called the growth of production costs, including the purchase of scrap metal. About this writes Metal Bulletin (London).
As it became known, the Spanish, Italian and Portuguese reinforcement of the February production has already been sold out € 490-495 ($ 651-658) per ton of FOB-ports of southern Europe. Last week, the prices for reinforcement were less than € 480-485 per ton. The internal prices for rolos and reinforcement are also increased, the increase was € 5-10 ($ 7-13) per ton.
Metallurgists of Northern Europe, are also preparing to increase prices for a similar metal supply referring to a sharp increase in the price of scrap metal, Metal Bulletin reports.
