The amount of funds sent this year to the environmental measures of Mariupol became the record in the history of the existence of the Ilyich MMK.
The list of works of 2013, the implementation of which, in the opinion of the leadership of the plant, will improve the environmental situation in the region in particular: they included:
- reconstruction of the agglophabus and modernization of promotions No. 1,2;
- Repair of the dust remedies of converters No. 1,2,3 with the construction of a radial sump;
- modernization of household sewage;
- Construction of a new Obvodnoy Pipeline of Promuspances No. 4 into the Kalmius River and the installation of fish protection devices on water intakes of the pumping station No. 1,2.
“The implementation of all these measures of the comprehensive environmental program of the plant, for the implementation of which we planned to use 118.7 million hryvnias this year, should significantly improve the state of the environment of Mariupol,” emphasizes the General Director of PJSC MMK named after Ilyich »Yuri Zinchenko. - The vast majority of environmental measures and investment projects is implemented by the Ilyich’s name at the expense of shareholders of the Metinvest group and their own funds. If the plant in 2013 begins to receive a refund of part of its environmental payments, this will accelerate the implementation of the intended events. ”
Recall that in 2012, about 40 million UAH, having repaired the gas treatment facilities of Aglomashin No. 7.12, in the domain workshop - gas -cleaning of the domain furnace No. 4, and equipped with a system for suppressing dust from the foundry yards of the domain furnaces No. 1,3, in the domain workshop. The conduct of the above measures made it possible to reduce emissions of pollutants into atmospheric air by 27 thousand tons.
