Exports of welded pipes from Turkey decreased by 6.2 percent in the first half of 2025

In June of this year, exports of welded pipes from Turkey totaled 221,117 metric tons, up 26.4 percent from May and 10.9 percent year-on-year, according to preliminary data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). Meanwhile, revenue from these exports amounted to $188.24 million, an increase of 29.2% compared to the previous month and 6.3% year-on-year.

In the first half of the year, exports of welded pipes from Turkey totaled 978,637 tons, down 6.2 percent, while the value of these exports decreased by 15.8 percent to $844.43 million, year-on-year.

During this periodthe largest export destination of welded pipes to Turkeywas Romania, which received 195,375 tons, which is 13 percent less year-on-year. Romania is followed by the United Kingdom with 89,232 tons, up 7.8 percent, and Iraq with 79,897 tons, up 39.4 percent from last year.
