Polish manufacturer of coal coal Jastrzebska Spolka Weglowa SA (JSW) announced operating results for July this year. The company saved the annual production of coal above the plan and reached the growth in the coke segment.
In July, JSW mined 1.23 million tons of coal, which is 94.5% of the coal production power, while from January to July the company reached 103.3% of the predicted coal production, reaching 7.43 million tons. This is the result of accelerated commissioning of new long -linings, improved organization of work and solutions on the basis of incentives implemented as part of a strategic transformation plan.
in this month, JSW sold more than coal than planned, while in the first seven months the coal sale plan was exceeded by 1.4 percent.
Cox production in July amounted to 300,000 tons, which is almost 19 percent more than planned. Although some deliveries to India were postponed due to administrative procedures, JSW emphasizes that Poland retains its positions of the largest coke supplier to this market, and contracts will be fulfilled in accordance with the schedule in the second half of the year.
