Ş. (IDÇ) announced financial and operating results for the first half of this year.
During the period, the company recorded a net loss of 718.55 million Turkish liras ($17.56 million), compared with a net loss of 3.14 billion Turkish liras in the first half of 2024, while its sales revenue increased by 10.7 percent year-on-year to 27.21 billion Turkish liras ($664.96 million). In addition, IDÇ reported an operating profit of 202.42 million Turkish liras ($4.95 million) for the first six months of the year, compared with an operating loss of 1.75 billion Turkish liras for the same period in 2024.
In the period from January to June, the company's steel ingot output increased by 39.0 percent to 1.1 million tons, while rebar production totaled 499,584 tons, an increase of 10.0 percent year-on-year. In addition, during the specified period, IDÇ's contract partners also produced 199,260 tons of rebar, with an annual increase of 11.0 percent. During the specified period, 152,230 tons of steel profiles were produced, which is six percent more than in the previous year.
In the first half of the year, the company's sales of finished steel increased by 12.0 percent to 848,631 tons, while export sales increased by 109.0 percent to 287,358 tons year-on-year.
