The Ministry found that these products, imported from China and South Korea, were dumped, which caused damage to the domestic industry. From August 14th for five years Baoshan Iron & Steel and related companies and other Chinese exporters will be taxed at a rate of 37.13 percent, while Boxing Hengrui New Material and Yieh Phui Technomaterial will be exempt from the tax.
On the other hand, South Korean Hyundai Steel will be subject to an anti-dumping duty of 12 percent, while POSCO, KG Dongbu and Dongkuk are exempt. The remaining South Korean exporters are taxed at 15.67 percent.
