S. Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced a preliminary order to bypass the seamless pipe products of the petroleum country (OCTG), manufactured using a substrate from China, completed in Thailand, and then exported to the United States.
The DOC preliminarily determines that imports of seamless pipe products from the petroleum country (OCTG), completed in Thailand using steel billets produced in China, circumvent anti-dumping duties and countervailing duties on these products from China. DOC has selected Boly Pipe Co., Ltd. (Boly Pipe), Nanobest Limited (Nanobest), and Petroleum Equipment (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (Pet) as mandatory respondents in this bypass request.
The bypass request was initiated on December 18, 2024.
