According to media reports, Turkish port authorities have begun making informal inquiries to shipping agents planning to dock at Turkish ports to provide evidence that they are not affiliated with Israel and that they are not transporting any military or dangerous goods.
The sources claimed that verbal instructions had been given to ports throughout Turkey, prompting them to demand written documents on the ships' relationship with Israel. Another claim is that ships arriving directly from Israel or departing to Israeli ports will no longer be allowed to enter Turkish ports. Turkish-flagged vessels will also be prohibited from entering Israeli ports.
There is currently no official communication on this topic from the Turkish government.
