In August of this year, the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish base metal manufacturing industry was 73.7 percent, compared with the 74.6 percent recorded in the previous month, while the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish base metal manufacturing industry was 75.4 percent in August 2024, according to preliminary data released by the Central Bank of Turkey.
Meanwhile, in this month, the capacity utilization rate in the production of metal products, excluding machinery and equipment, was 72.4 percent, down from 72.5 percent recorded in July and up from 72.0 percent in August 2024.
The capacity utilization rate in Turkey's general manufacturing industry, on the other hand, was 73.5 percent in August this year, compared with 74.2 percent in the previous month and 75.4 percent in the same month in 2024.
