In mid-August (August 1-10) of this year, the average price in China HRB 400e 20 mm decreased by RMB 6.4/MT ($ 0.9/MT) or 0.2 percent to RMB 3261.0/MT ($ 459/MT), compared with the price in early August (August 1-10), as announced by the National Statistics Bureau of Statistics China.
At a given period, the average price of the rollery decreased by 0.5 percent, while the average prices for a steel sheet of medium thickness, hot -rolled roll (HRC) and angles increased by 0.5 percent, 0.5 percent and 0.3 percent, respectively, while the average price for seamless steel pipes remained stable, all compared to the beginning August.
