Hyundai Motor Expands Steel and car Supply Chains in the U.

S. with $26 billion investment

South Korea's Hyundai Motor Group has announced a $26 billion investment plan in the United States, strengthening its long-term strategy to strengthen industrial sustainability and supply chain security. The investments, planned for the period from 2025 to 2028, will support innovation, job creation and sustainable growth in key industries, as well as significantly expand the group's presence in the US market.

This new commitment represents an additional $5 billion in addition to the $21 billion announced in March 2025. Hyundai's expanded investments underscore its strategic focus on automotive, steel, and robotics.

Strategic steel production in Louisiana

As part of the plan, Hyundai will build a new steel mill in Louisiana. The facility is designed to strengthen domestic industrial capacity, especially in the automotive sector, ensuring the sustainability of steel supply chains in the face of global trade and market challenges.

Hyundai Motor Company and Kia Corporation will significantly expand their production facilities in the USA, This will make it possible to respond faster and more effectively to American consumer demand and contribute to domestic economic growth.
