Manganese ore shipments through Port Hedland increased by 16.2% in July 2025 compared to June

In July of this year, shipments of manganese ore from Australia's Port Hedland totaled 181,600 metric tons, up 16.2% month-on-month and 17.9% year-on-year, according to monthly data released by the Port Hedland Port Authority.

Meanwhile, the only destination in this month was China.

Port Hedland handles production at mines owned by BHP Billiton, Fortescue Metals Group and Atlas Manganese in the manganese-rich Pilbara region of Western Australia.
