According to the data of ferrous and non -ferrous metal exporters based in Turkey, in July of this year, the export of ferrous and non -ferrous metals from Turkey increased by 8.0 percent in the annual calculus to $ 1.2 billion, while export began to decrease by 3.2 percent calculus of to $ 1.4 billion. On the other hand, in the first seven months of the year, the export of the ferrous and non -ferrous metals sector increased by 6.7 percent in the annual calculus to $ 7.6 billion, while the export of the steel sector increased by 3.1 percent in the annual calculation of to $ 9.6 billion.
In July, Germany was the leading market for the export of ferrous metallurgy of Turkey. Germany was followed by Italy, the USA, Great Britain and Romania. In addition, export to Morocco increased by 119 percent in the same month, while exports to the UK increased 17 percent of annual calculus.
Meanwhile, in July, the exports of black and non -ferrous manufacturers of the Mediterranean region increased by 18 percent a year to $ 78 million, while exports of steel decreased by 26 percent to $ 26 percent to $ 190 million. In January-July, exports of ferrous and non-ferrous metals of manufacturers increased by 9.1% to $ 465 million, and the exports of steel decreased by 4.8% to $ 1.2 billion.
