By the end of January—August of this year, 738.8 million tons of cargo were loaded on the network, which is 7.1% lower than the level of 2024.
Shipments of construction materials (-15%), ferrous metals (-17.3%), and coal (-3.6%) decreased. Railways shipped:
• coal – 213.8 million tons (-3.6% compared to January – August 2024);
• coke – 6.7 million tons (-16.1%);
• iron and manganese ores – 71.5 million tons (-1.5%);
• ferrous metals – 34.7 million tons (-17.3%);
• ferrous scrap – 5 million tons (-35.6%);
• non–ferrous and sulfur ores – 11.6 million tons (4.9%);
• chemicals and soda – 13.5 million tons (-3.7%);
• industrial raw materials and molding materials - 18.1 million tons (-18%)
