India's BC Jindal Group will invest approximately $2 billion to build a new Greenfield Nowerstream steel plant in the eastern coastal state of Odisha, the company said in a statement on Friday, August 9. The proposed project will focus on creating value-added steel products, in line with both domestic and export markets.
