Average new home prices in 100 Chinese cities rose 0.2% in August from July 2025.

In August of this year, average new home prices in 100 major Chinese cities totaled 16,910 yuan/square meter ($2,382/square meter), up 0.2 percent per month, while increasing 2.73 percent per year, according to the CIA, the largest independent independent real estate research organizations in China.

Meanwhile, in August, average second-hand housing prices in 100 major Chinese cities totaled 13,481 yuan/square meter (1,899 USD/sq.m. the previous month.
