compared with August 2024, production decreased by 13.8 percent, exports decreased by 22.1 percent, and domestic sales increased by 33.8 percent. Martina Zuppy, the president of ADEFA, after the seasonal problems that influenced the indicators of the sector in July, the automotive industry resumed the pace of activity in August, demonstrating the restoration and growth of three main variables, production, export and sale. during the first eight months of 2025, compared to the same period 2024, production increased by 6.2.2 percent to 332,135 units, exports decreased by 7.7 percent to 173,382 units, and domestic sales increased by 71.6 percent to 400,953 units, which, including imported cars. When only vehicles made to Argentina are included in the first eight months of 2025, increased by 2025 23.7 percent up to 148 933 units.
