According to a notice published by the Turkish Press Advertising Institute, the Turkish steel mill Akay Grup Peyzaj Metal Inşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi has applied to the Bursa Commercial Court of First Instance for debt restructuring due to its financial difficulties.
The court granted the company a three-month interim notice effective from August 29, 2025, and appointed an interim debt restructuring commissioner. According to the decision, the transfer of movable and immovable property of the company to third parties is prohibited until the second decision is made.
Creditors will be able to file objections with the court within seven days, starting on September 4.
