According to preliminary data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in July this year, the export of Katanka from Turkey amounted to 50,673 metric tons, which is 55.8 percent less than June and 15.1 percent more compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, the revenue from this export amounted to $ 29.55 million, decreasing by 54% compared to the previous month and increasing by 10% in annual calculus.
In the first seven months of the year, the export of the Katanka from Turkey amounted to 579,729 tons, which is 1.2 percent more, while the cost of this export decreased by 5.3 percent to $ to $ 334.48 million, both indicators in the annual calculus.
