Skellefte Port is an Agreement
in the Skellefte Core-Core-Core-Coilsed port. The operator of the Finnish port of Rauanheimo will oversee the selected cargo operations on this site.
The Mayor emphasized that his collaborative approach with both the Port Authority and Rauanheimo ensured the rapid establishment of reliable export channels that would be needed in the early years of operations
. Steigra has also signed an agreement with Kvarken Umeå Ports for operations in Umeå port, while Rauanheimo will manage cargo warehouses. Expansion plans are underway to add scrap storage capacity in collaboration with Rauanheimo. These agreements complement Steigra's existing logistics partnership with the port of Lulea, which serves as the company's main hub for second- and multi-year cargo.
