The largest steel company in Vietnam Hoa Phat Group announced that in August 2025 it produced 953,000 tons of steel, an average of 31,800 tons per day. This is 34.0% more in annual calculus. Currently, the company expects to increase the daily production of steel to 40,000 tons from the fourth quarter of 2025, providing stable supplies of the hot rolon (HRC), construction steel and high-quality steel marks.
Currently 75 percent of raw steel HOA PHAT comes from the metallurgical complex Dung Quat, and the rest is from the Hai Duong complex and the Hung Yen rolling camp. Between the second quarter and September of this year, domain furnaces No. 1 and No. 2 of the Dung Quat 2 project increased, which increased Dung Quat performance to 30,000 tons per day.
