Hunan Steel Group's gross profit increased by 1.97 percent in H1 2025

Hunan Iron and Steel Group (Hunan Steel Group), a Chinese steel manufacturer based in Hunan Province, announced that in the first six months of this year, it recorded annual operating income, while it generated gross profit of 5.18 billion yuan in the period, up 1.97 percent year-on-year. The challenges of the steel industry's deep adjustments have captured the possibilities of self-disciplined production control of raw materials production and drop, as well as accelerated transformations towards high-end, green, smart, and service-oriented operations. As a result, Hunan Steel Group's steel business has achieved steadily improving operational performance.
