The Global Fire Material Leader Vesuvius Group announced a strategic partnership with the Turkish steel company Silvan Rolls, which is an important step for the Silvan mini-factory project in Karabyuk, Türkiye.
Project volume and details Equipment
Silvan mini-zero is developed using modern equipment supplied by the Turkish manufacturer of Demora plants. The object will include:
- 50-mm electric-arc furnace and the bucket system
- 3-chain continuous founder
- the annual capacity of the steel 400,000 tons
is planned for the first quarter 2026 years.
vesuvius will supply bucket and passing mechanisms, as well as critical refractory solutions, ensuring the efficiency, safety and stability of operations in the coming years.
