The Algerian National Steel Company (SNS) took an important step on strengthening its industrial base, signing eight agreements in the amount of $ 950 million with partners from Algeria, Senegal and China, according to local media reports. These transactions are aimed at strengthening national production potential, expanding exports and creating thousands of direct and indirect jobs throughout the region.
New partnerships will support agriculture, automobile spare parts, galvanization and production of steel press forms, reducing the costs of import and dependence of the algeria on the Algeria Import.
Details of the agreementsThe agreement between SNS and the Chinese company Habicare focusing on the production of spare parts and steel press forms, while the agreement concluded with the Chinese company Shanxi Installation Group, involves cooperation in the processes of galvanization. Thanks to cooperation with Senegal companies CFTS and Fondal, Algeria expands its industrial presence in West Africa, building the production division of SNS.
Other SNS companies signed agreements with local companies Anabib, Alderia Faw Trucks Industries, El SEWEDY ELECTRIC ALGERIA GROUP and a German manufacturer of Auto parts EMSG Mansour, with an accent on investment in the industrial and agricultural sector, reducing dependence on importing trucks and automobile details.
