In August of this year, the registration of new cars in South Korea grew by 0.8 percent in monthly calculus and 22.6 percent in annual terms of up to 27,304 units, according to data published by the Korean Association of importers and car distributors (KAIDA). Eight months of this year, registration of new cars in South Korea grew by 13.3 percent in annual calculus to 192 514 units.
