arcelormittal will allocate its modernized unoriented electrical steels, in particular, modernized by modernized High -grade stamps, self -sloping varnish coatings and the latest ICARE ® 420Save brands with low losses. The next generation of ICARE 420Save stamps is planned to be commissioned in 2026, expanding the track of up to 0.2 mm and combining the lowest magnetic losses with high strength.
Charlotte Daugu, the Sales Director of Electrotechnical Steels, ArcelorMittal Europe - Flattal Europe Products, said: “The upcoming launch of our new plant for the production of electrical steels in Mardik in France, along with our existing plant in Saint-Schelle-D 'Apser, will significantly increase our capacities for the production of electrical steels.” New power steel lines on Mardyck will produce 170,000 tons of neorent electrotechnical steel annually.
