Exports of welded pipes from Turkey decreased by 3.7 percent in January-July 2025

In July of this year, exports of welded pipes from Turkey totaled 149,748 metric tons, down 31.9 percent from June and up 20.1 percent year-on-year, according to preliminary data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). Meanwhile, revenue from these exports amounted to $144.09 million, down 23.4% from the previous month and up 25.3% year-on-year.

In the first seven months of the year, exports of welded pipes from Turkey amounted to 1.12 million tons, which is 3.7 percent less, while the value of these exports decreased by 11.8 percent to $986.18 million year-on-year.

During this periodthe largest export destination of welded pipes to Turkeywas Romania, which received 195,739 tons, which is 16.7 percent less year-on-year. Romania is followed by Great Britain with 98,398 tons, which is 0.6% more, and Iraq with 96,861 tons, which is 35.2% more than last year.
